Passing the Bechdel Test

Passing the Bechdel Test

A voice from a blouse

A skirt of leaves

They have immolated their wicker man.

They talk of flowers and the physics of particles,

of vacuous clothing and sumptuous books.

Yet beneath brocade and bead work and sneaking mist

there is a want

they feel

but cannot remember.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith
